Confirmed: Breaking Dawn Will Be Split Into Two Films

“I have this from several sources, and it’s definitive. Filming on the back-to-back movies would begin in mid-October, and Summit Entertainment is looking at “high-end” directors. Breaking Dawn is the longest in Stephenie Meyer’s 4-book series lengthwise and it’s the most graphic — presenting birth, attempted murder, death, and of course vampire bites. Published on August 2, 2008, it has a happy ending for most of the characters. Divided into 3 parts, the 1st and 3rd sections are told from the point of view of Bella (Kristen Stewart), and the second section from the perspective of Jacob (Taylor Lautner). It prominently features all 3 favorite characters including Edward (Robert Pattinson). Summit Entertainment no doubt will save money by making these Twilight Saga movies #4 and #5 back to back. Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg (who’s written all the Twilight Saga films) is currently adapting Breaking Dawn. Eclipse, the 3rd movie, will be released on June 30th.”Source: Nikki Finke – Deadline Hollywood

If they really going to make it, I am happy, I could care less if it is two different films. I think most edward and bella fans don’t care as long as they make it. I do however want them to add isle esme in, would’nt have to put the whole thing in, just some of it would be nice.

same i think they should keep isle esme too. there are many ways they can keep it with out going over pg14 like they did for the runaways with Kristen and Dakota all they need is the random face, skin and hand shots that way we now that something is happening and its keeping in the pg14 and keeping to the book.

I don’t know how reliable this source is, But I thought I would just share. the source is from london england, she said they are supposed to start getting the movie eclipse on the 9th then she added that rosenberg had apparently finished the script from breaking dawn and they were supposed to start filming in september. I don’t know if mtv news section on the internet is reliable or not, but yesterday dated for the 6th of april, they interviewed rosenberg on breaking dawn she said that the twifans don’t have to worry that the movie will be pg13…… Now I know for a fact that even in certain pg13 movies they show brief nudity. I have read that book, I don’t know how many times but, the most graphic would be the birth of renesme. As far as the water scene on isle esme when they first get there they just need to put bathing suits on them to make that scene, they would’nt have to leave that out. But they better put the wedding scene in, I would love to see those two say their vows to each other at the altar.

According to breaking dawn movie.orgposted today that the movie will be split like this, First movie it will focus on the wedding, honeymoon, bella’s pregnancy and the birth and the second half will be about bella’s transformation into being a vampire and jacob’s relationship with edward and bella’s daughter. Which will be good.
